Baby Bjorn travel cot on review by Nicola

Baby Bjorn's new travel cot goes on review...

Trend Life tried out the Baby Bjorn travel cot, which recently arrived to the UK and here is what we thought...

The Baby Bjorn Travel Cot Light is, as it says, very light at just 5kg when compared with other travel cots, making it handy, portable and ideal for airport check-in.  It comes in a black carry case which is easy to carry and store away.  After unzipping the bag you are met with a flat-packed cot which you simply fold open. There are no fiddly poles to assemble or complicated instructions to follow.  This is typical of Baby Bjorn's products which are always good to look at and easy to use.

The silver and black cot is attractive with mesh sides for good air flow.  It comes with a mattress, which is slim but still comfortable, and the cotton cover zips off for washing.  The only downside is that, being so low to the ground, it can be hard on the back lifting your baby in and out - but this design is typical of most travel cots.

All Travel Cot fabrics that come into contact with baby’s skin are Class-1 Oeko-Tex certified, which ensures they are  safe and free from any harmful substances.  Available in silver, the BabyBjörn Travel Cot Light is suitable for children from newborn to three years.  RRP £199.99
