Save the teapot!
Ditch the mug.
Whether it be breakfast, builders or earl grey, with one lump or three, we think it's time that tea got the star treatment and brewed with love and care in the best of all vessels, the teapot. But apparently the sales of teapots are down? How can we British, in a year full of such momentous occasion (Olympics and Jubilee), neglect the humble tea pot? We love that #savetheteapot is trending on twitter and have selected some of our favourite tea pots to share with you. Lets ditch the mug and bring back proper tea ettiquette.

TOAST'n'TEA-O-TRON 3000
The trusty toast and tea combination is about to get more refined
Toast and Tea - we all have a way of doing it, whether it's as dark as an essex tan or warm and a touch soggy there's no one who can make it quite like ourselves. But have you ever thought about which tea and slice compliment each other prefectly? No, me neither. Vogel, however, thinks it's maybe time to break our breakfast routine and try something a little more... complimentary.
So the clever clogs and bread experts at Vogel have created a fun and slightly wacky app to do just this, to educate us. With their taste testers Suzy Atkins, wine writer and broadcaster, and Trevor Mordaunt, the savoys resident tea expert, they tried countless combinations from ceylon with multi-grain to lady grey and linseed.
The result? A fun frankenstein style contraption, seemingly ran by gnomes... it's madness. But for toast and tea lovers, I believe, it may begin to broaden our horizons and shake up breakfast time. They also throw in tips on how to brew the perfect cup!
