With holiday season coming up, it's great to have a portable steriliser on hand to take with you.  The Philips Avent Microwave Steriliser is a lovely model, lightweight and easy to use.

Unlike other microwave sterilisers, the Philips Avent Microwave Steriliser fits six bottles - meaning you can clean a whole day's bottles in one go.  Just add some water and it takes around two minutes to clean the bottles (depending on the power of your microwave).  The bottles remain sterile for up to 24 hours if the container is not opened.

We particularly like the side clips on the sterliser's lid which keeps it secure when you remove it from the microwave - this stops the steam escaping, which could otherwise lead to nasty burns (as one tester experienced with another model).
