The Philips Avent Steamer and Blender is a handy gadget that will save you some precious time.

It helps you prepare healthy and nutritious homemade baby food for your little ones.  Its so simple to use: first steam your vegetables fruit or meat, then lift and flip the jar over to blend it up into a tasty lunch for baby.

The only downside is the size. It’s quite big, so not ideal for smaller kitchens.

These adorable pacifiers from Philips Avent are nice and summery with their animal designs, including cute sheep and rabbits. Not only do they look lovely, they are easy to find in the cot (unlike annoying clear dummies which are impossible to find in a darkened nursery!)

With holiday season coming up, it's great to have a portable steriliser on hand to take with you.  The Philips Avent Microwave Steriliser is a lovely model, lightweight and easy to use.

Unlike other microwave sterilisers, the Philips Avent Microwave Steriliser fits six bottles - meaning you can clean a whole day's bottles in one go.  Just add some water and it takes around two minutes to clean the bottles (depending on the power of your microwave).  The bottles remain sterile for up to 24 hours if the container is not opened.

We particularly like the side clips on the sterliser's lid which keeps it secure when you remove it from the microwave - this stops the steam escaping, which could otherwise lead to nasty burns (as one tester experienced with another model).

With no complicated set up and very easy digital settings, the Philips Avent Digital bottle and food warmer is quick and simple to use.  You add in the water, select whether you are heating food or milk, choose the starting temperature - frozen, chilled or room temp - and pop into the holder.  After a few minutes the warmer beeps and the milk or food is ready for your baby.  It is extremely quick to heat, saving you precious minutes.

One downside is that there are no options to change the temperature, some babies like bottles hotter than others, but the ease of use makes this a winner in our book.

Trendlife reviewed the Avent Twin Electric Breast Pump with great results...

The machine comes in a smart black carry case which looks more like a weekend bag than a pump, and comes with all sorts of handy extras like storage pots, teats and thermo carriers.

After reading the instructions once, the machine was set up easily. The biggest advantage of the Avent pump is that it comes with a clever action which allows you to set the pump's speed and pressure for your own needs, which the machine 'remembers' and continues automatically, this is unlike other pumps which have preset speeds.

The soft suction pads closely mimic babies' sucking action, which means that the let-down and stimulation of your milk supply is excellent.

Although the effectiveness of a breast pump can be very dependent on the Mum, I found this pump to be more effective than a hospital grade pump which cost around £45 per month to hire.

Although it is pricey, due to the fantastic results this machine gives - Trend Life awards the Avent Twin Electric Breast Pump a record-breaking 10/10
