Pampers Baby Dry or Pampers Active Fit? by Nicola

Which nappies to choose?

There is such a huge array of choice with nappies, not only between brands, but also between styles of nappies from one brand!  So to make things a bit easier, we tested out the Pampers Baby Dry and the Pamper Active Fit to see which one came out the best.  Both were tried in the number 3 size on a 5 month old baby girl.

They are a similar size in terms of dimensions, but in terms of bulk, the Baby Dry was much more padded, Active Fit is 20% slimmer according to the website.  The Active Fit is obviously designed to make it easier for babies to run around without a bulky nappy... however, at 5 months, I am more keen on avoiding leaks than worried about her moving as she is only at the rolling stage.

In terms of leaks, the Pampers Baby Dry stayed true to the name, Rosie did not experience any leaks for three days.  Yet with Active Fit she had typically one leak per day. Both worked well at keeping the moisture away from Rosie's skin and avoiding nappy rash.

Pampers Active Fit is normally more expensive, but is currently on offer at Boots.com

Pampers Baby Dry £6.49 for 36

Pampers Active Fit £6.49 for 34 - currently on offer at £6.00
