“What gorgeous eyelashes you have! So long, and, so, very thick!” The words that have been uttered to my 19 year old brother for years, have unfortunately, never been uttered to me.  Whilst Lil Ads (all 6” 2 of him) is graced with the feminine features I so long for, I have inherited my pa’s lashes, and thus I’ve felt like the ‘stubby Sally’ of the eyelash brigade versus the ‘lengthy Lucy’s’ and the ‘thick Thelma’s' that flutter by.  

However, in a mascara I have found the missing piece for my gene jigsaw puzzle. Its new brush defines and separates each lash, whilst its glossy formula brightens the eyes for a wide-awake look. In the weeks leading up to the due date, mums-to-be are often waxing, getting their haircut and highlights done to make sure they can have a few months off beauty regimes once baby arrives.  Most people don’t think about make up just after going through delivery and are rightly focused on their new bundles of joy. But you can guarantee you will be featuring in lots of piccies of you and your new arrival.  So one easy pre-labour way to make the most of the piccies is by applying a facial fake tan to give yourself a little boost.

We would advise sticking to the more natural fake tans, you don’t need to look St Tropez-ed, and Flash Bronzer is one of the most natural looking out there.  For blondes or those with very fair skin, the regular Flash Bronzer is the best. For those with some colour, choose the anti-ageing dark option.  It looks very dark, but comes out with a natural look.
