This Gentle Shampoo from Madara has a delicious marzipan scent, which lathers well but is still very easy to rinse and leaves baby's hair soft and silky.

Pure Light Natural Candles by Annabelle

Soothe away the stresses of the day with a naturally-scented candle from Pure Light; the perfect gift for, well, anytime.

Made from delicate infusions of pure aromatherapy-grade essential oils, and carefully hand-blended through natural soy wax, Pure Light Natural Candles create an all-round sensory experience, comparable to that enjoyed throughout my spa weekend last fortnight.

These candles really do tick all the right boxes; they ethically source all their (100% natural) ingredients, use a recyclable, heavy glass case (just wash with warm soapy water once the candle is finished, then top with the lid to store trinkets and keepsakes), and wherever possible, Pure Light uses essential oils derived from plants either grown or distilled in the UK.

If you have an impossible-to-buy-for-lady on your Christmas list, I urge you to consider giving her a sensual treat she's unlikely to forget.

SKINFLINT DESIGN'S SPRING 2011 EXTREME ENVIRONMENT COLLECTION by Alexandra

Skinflint Design have been hunting out some of the UK’s most extreme environments for their exciting Spring 2011 collection.

Lights in their stunning new range will include a run of converted M.O.D tank signal pendants- still complete with their original ‘sights’, a collection of Oil Rig surface mounted bulkhead lights, the “British Bullfinch” Search Light now converted into a tripod floor lamp and a one of a kind piece “The Cambridge Recorder” a converted seven day temperature gauge salvaged from the cellulose stores of a paint factory to the East of London.

Each and every product in Skinflint’s reclaimed and restored lighting range is a piece of history with its own tale to tell, and the SKINFLINT team, Chris and Sophie Miller, have traveled the length and breadth of the UK hunting out these rare and unusual lighting pieces.

Chris says: “Lights such as these were really engineered to last- the detail of the castings reflects the intensity of their construction”

“These lights are simply stunning,” comments Sophie “It’s wonderful to have had the opportunity to breathe new life back into them”

The collection will be launched Spring 2011

Glass And Aluminium Searchlight By 'british Bullfinch', £780.00

Signal Lamp Pendants, £220.00

Eco Nappies by Nicola

They may seem like something your Gran would have used but cloth nappies are making a comeback.

Disposable diapers are soon to become a thing of the past, with new mums opting for cloth over plastic.

Reusable nappies can take a child from birth to potty, meaning less waste and better for the environment and a lot of money saved.

The “Lollipop Organic Onesize Nappy” from http://www.teamlollipop.co.uk/ is perfect, it’s organic and adjustable.

Lollipop Organic Onesize Nappy , £11.00

Lollipop Rainbow Pocket Nappy, £12.00
