This gorgeous, summery playsuit from Boots Miniclub is covered in colourful hearts.  Its shortie style is not very easy to find on the high street, and it's ideal for keeping Rosie cool on a hot, summer's day.

Its just a shame that Boots Miniclub isn't available to buy online.

There is such a huge array of choice with nappies, not only between brands, but also between styles of nappies from one brand!  So to make things a bit easier, we tested out the Pampers Baby Dry and the Pamper Active Fit to see which one came out the best.  Both were tried in the number 3 size on a 5 month old baby girl.

They are a similar size in terms of dimensions, but in terms of bulk, the Baby Dry was much more padded, Active Fit is 20% slimmer according to the website.  The Active Fit is obviously designed to make it easier for babies to run around without a bulky nappy... however, at 5 months, I am more keen on avoiding leaks than worried about her moving as she is only at the rolling stage.

In terms of leaks, the Pampers Baby Dry stayed true to the name, Rosie did not experience any leaks for three days.  Yet with Active Fit she had typically one leak per day. Both worked well at keeping the moisture away from Rosie's skin and avoiding nappy rash.

For when Rosie wants to dress up a bit, but stay comfy, these light denim trousers from Baby Gap are ideal, they are no longer available, so for something similar try BHS which have some relaxed denim trousers for £8.  They are matched with a red, floral summer playsuit with a pretty bow from Boots Miniclub and some lovely Heart Baby Shoes - £18 from Mamas and Papas.

This outfit is comfortable enough to play in but she looks a bit trendy at the same time!

Philips Avent have a fun range of mealtime goodies: plates, bowls, knives and spoons with delightful animal scenes in the centre and numbers around the side (making them educational too!).  This set also comes with a wonderful receipe booklet for inspiration.

The plates and bowls feature non-slip bases and are dishwasher proof.

With the summer here again, Rosie is wearing a vestsuit from Gap, something more difficult to find, but lovely for hot days (although they dont seem to have the pink version online so try in your nearest store).  She is wearing this with some lightweight pantaloons which are part of a set from Next and the Heart leather shoes from Inchblue.
